Participants wil learn strategies for promoting programs, services and collections directly to the patrons they serve. Staff who work directly with patrons are the best marketing tool there is. Time will also be spent on learning how to identify and present information of interest to patrons, and ideas for promoting through verbal interaction, displays, and fliers that all staff can do with minimal prep time. In addition, tips for writing creative, effective program descriptions, fliers, and for determining the best promotion tactic to use will also be discussed. |
